I am exploring today the people who have really influenced me and my life up until my mid-twenties. These people really helped me define who I am.

This is even though my work as a playwright and an academic was very much part of my story.

I want to talk a little bit about what was happening when I moved from Perth to Melbourne in 2002, and the significant amount of time that I’ve been in Melbourne and for almost 10 years when I moved here I worked in a crystal shop on Lygon Street in Carlton.
